Another Hitman game on the way

Hitman: Absolution
will be out next year
Agent 47 is already set for a comeback with Hitman: Absolution. It is not the only plans Square Enix has for Agent 47 in the foreseeable future. The publisher plans to launch a brand new game studio in Montreal during the next year. Here, will 150 developers get their livelihood. Their first project is reportedly a new Hitman game to the next-generation consoles, according to a trusted source.
This is the first game in the series which the Danish IO Interactive did not develop themselves, and they have sent three of their main master minds over to Montreal to assist the development.

The development of the new game is not to be seen as a sign that the series is about to slip from the original developers but should instead be seen as a way to shorten the time between Hitman games. Currently it is nearly six years since we had the previous game in the series, Hitman: Blood Money.

However, it is clear that Square Enix's second studio in the same city, Eidos Montreal, expands staff with 100 new jobs. Their latest game release was Deus Ex: Human Revolution, a great shooter with RPG elements, and now they are working with a whole new project. In addition, we know that they continue to work with with Deus Ex and the awaited Thief 4
